| Tallinn was the first leg of my journey through the Baltics. Highlights included (clockwise) the Three Sisters Houses, built by a merchant for his bachelorette daughters; the Nevski Cathedral, built in the Russian Orthodox style; the medieval-style restaurant Olde Hansa, which serves boar and bear; and a bicycle tour of the city. On my third day in Tallinn, I took a day trip to Helsinki. | |
